**IT Support Staff | Halifax, NS**:

**SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Provide first level support and troubleshoot issues for hardware and software and interface with end-users via an established helpdesk process;
- Install, maintain and upgrade computers, telephones, printers and software;
- Troubleshoot software and networking issues;
- Set up and troubleshoot issues with audio visual equipment and associated software (including Poly conferencing equipment, Microsoft Teams, etc);
- Relocate computers, printers and phones when lawyers/staff are reassigned new offices/workstations;
- Unbox and organize workstation hardware in preparation for deployment to end-users;
- Provision workstations and mobile devices for end-users;
- Other duties as assigned.

**SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS**
- Degree or diploma in a field of Information Technology or related study;
- 2+ years of previous experience in an IT-related role, preferably in a professional services firm;
- A demonstrated ability to troubleshoot technical problems, including issues with hardware, software, and networking issues, is essential to this role;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate complex information in a supportive and easily understood manner;
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail, coupled with strong organizational and time management skills;
- Experience administering Microsoft Active Directory environments and Microsoft server environments (Windows Server 2012+);
- Previous experience as a member of a helpdesk or similar customer-facing technical support is considered an asset;
- Experience using OpenText eDocs DM or similar document management is considered an asset;
- Experience administering cloud-based environments such as Microsoft 365 / Azure is considered an asset;
