2 years minimum experience. Must be comfortable dealing with taxes, the CRA and a high level understanding of the Income Tax Act.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage all accounting transactions
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
- Audit financial transactions and documents
- Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

- Day shift
- On call

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:

- QuickBooks: 1 year (preferred)
- Bookkeeping: 2 years (preferred)
