Reporting to the Director of Finance, the successful applicant provides guidance and counsel to the senior management team and board committees in financial matters. The incumbent provides leadership and guidance to finance staff and ensures accuracy of general and statistical information and that departmental activities are in accordance with policies, goals, objectives, and the strategic plan of the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and Board of Directors.

**Basic Requirements**
- University Degree in Business, Economics, or Finance.
- Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
- Current membership, in good standing with the Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA) association.
- A minimum of five years previous working experience in finance.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities, have exceptional time management skills and perform well with tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to the health centre’s mission, vision, and values.
- Demonstrated professionalism, tact, and diplomacy in interactions with others.
- Demonstrated ability in writing concise, logical, grammatically correct correspondences and reports.
- Demonstrated satisfactory attendance levels, work performance, disciplinary history, and positive work references.
- Ability to work in a manner that exemplifies the core values of the West Parry Sound Health Centre: _Compassion, Accountability, Rights and Responsibilities, Excellence, and Safety_.
