**What you’ll do**:

- Direct and supervise all apparel staff to secure efficient and courteous customer service
- Ensure product is moved efficiently from the receiver to the backroom and then to the salesfloor
- Respond immediately to customer inquiries, requests, and complaints, ensuring courteous customer relations at all times
- Maximize sales and gross profit, ensuring sales goals and budgets are met
- Hire all part-time staff and train new employees
- Schedule all apparel clerks ensuring the strict control of wage costs
- Interpret and administer Company policy and ensure compliance with the union contract
- Responsible for maintaining the condition of the department
- Ensure the safety and sanitation of the department
- Accept responsibility for Joe Fresh compliance

**What you bring**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred
- Flexibility to work a variety of hours which include days, evenings, night shifts and weekends
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Three to five years’ experience in the retail apparel industry
- Prior management experience a definitive asset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
