**Client Finance Analyst**

Location: Toronto, Ontario

Reports to: Senior Corporate Accountant

Position Summary:
Working closely with both the Trading Finance team and Shared Services Center, the Client Finance Analyst will be responsible for all tasks related to month end revenue reporting, reconciliations, client billings and vendor payments.

Key Accountabilities:

- Prepare journals for revenue related accounts at month end, as well as other schedules
- Coordinate with other analysts to gather data and prepare monthly revenue accruals/deferrals
- Reconcile and balance revenue related inter-company activities
- Update, reconcile and balance local system against central consolidation system
- Maintain monthly revenue trackers to track all deal terms and spend details
- Monitor deal spends and payments closely and take proactive actions to prevent errors
- Request client and vendor code set-ups and maintain relevant records
- Validate vendor campaign contracts and billings against internal database
- Liaise between external and internal parties to resolve campaign discrepancies
- Generate monthly billings in a timely manner
- Support Senior Corporate Accountant during month-end
- Coordinate with other internal departments to monitor receivables collection status
- Complete other tasks as required

- Must demonstrate excellent written and spoken communication
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks, maximize efficiency and work with tight deadlines
- Strong attention to detail
- Self-starter, takes initiative, is proactive
- Creative, out of the box problem solver
- Advanced Excel skills (including knowledge of pivot tables and Queries) is an asset
- Knowledge of Mediaocean system is an asset

Education and Experience:

- Post-secondary education in Accounting
- Working towards CPA designation would be an asset
- Advertising/media agency experience is an asset
