Position Description

**FIT4LESS **IT SYSTEMS SPECIALIST***:
**Who is an IT Systems Specialist?**
**What will you be doing?**
- Gathers information from support tickets to accurately diagnose and resolve IT issues.
- Provides step-by-step instructions to fix technological issues to customers and IT peers.
- Reviews instruction manuals and support guides to help users utilize their software or hardware properly.
- Maintains detailed logs of client problems, solutions, and customer satisfaction.
- Assists in Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and peripherals for production use.
- Assists in identifying root cause of more complex issues by gathering system information to improve existing business processes and resolve issues.
- Maintains job aids and standard operating procedure documentation for accuracy with current systems to ensure documentation remains relevant.
- Handles preventative maintenance on hardware and peripherals by Installing or modifying software and cleaning and repairing hardware.

**Do you have what it takes?**
- College Degree in related field
- 2 years experience
- Basic experience connecting to remote desktops
- Advanced communication skills explaining support steps to a non-technical audience
- Intermediate knowledge experience supporting a wide range of hardware and software
- Values time and uses their time effectively and efficiently.
- Learns quickly when facing new problems and is open to change
- Remains calm under pressure and can handle stress.
- Is easy to approach and talk to, can be warm, pleasant and gracious.
