Project Manager/commercial Construction

**Primary Duties**
- Lead the project and act as the Owners representative.
- Facilitate the exchange of information between leadership, site personnel, subcontractors, consultants, vendors, and bodies of authority in a professional, concise, and timely fashion.
- Direct and support all project field personnel as needed.
- Direct subcontractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure they fulfill their contractual obligations safely, on time and on budget.
- Obtain the necessary documents, permits and approvals required to execute work.
- Lead the quality control process.
- Lead the jobsite safety program. Always ensure full compliance.
- Create and maintain a detailed project budget.
- Create and maintain a detailed critical path project schedule and ensure the timely execution of the project.
- Create and maintain a detailed project risk registry.
- Create and maintain a detailed project stakeholder engagement registry.
- Create and maintain a detailed issues-log for each project.
- Create / execute / maintain current and accurate project documentation
- Review and approve invoices for accuracy and maintain detailed and accurate accounting records throughout the project.
- Chair by-weekly jobsite meetings. Record and publish meeting minutes and agendas as required.
- Perform analysis and make recommendations as requested.

**Qualifications**
- Post-secondary education in construction, project management, engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years’ experience in construction project management.
- 5+ years’ experience in managing construction schedules.
- Proficient in construction terminology and blueprint reading.
- Strong knowledge of the Ontario Building Code and Building Code Act
- Strong knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations.
- Professional and ethical interpersonal skills, ability to resolve conflicts, excellent verbal, and written communication skills.
- Able to use a computer and basic Microsoft Office programs such as MS Project, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
- Must possess a G Drivers license and clean driving record.
- Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions, navigate uneven ground, climb stairs, perform minor physical duties, see, and hear well in changing conditions.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
