Atkinson Construction is a growing company with a history of providing professional building construction to multiple clients. Located in St Albert, Atkinson Construction employs a skilled teams of construction professionals with special emphasis on client relations and project delivery. We deliver high quality building construction to a diverse field of clients across Alberta and British Columbia. Our clients include municipal and federal governments, as well as private clients including vehicle dealerships, private buildings and other contractors.

The Project Manager will be responsible for seeking opportunities with new and existing clients, building client relations, managing complex projects, working with construction professionals, managing sub contractors/consultants, meeting client and company expectations and ensuring the integrity of the Atkinson Construction brand.
As one of the Company’s Project Managers, you will be directly responsible for the delivery of client projects. This is a working role, involving all aspects of project management. Atkinson Construction prides itself on a client first, problem solving team. We are seeking an individual who can effectively manage several demanding tasks and demands from several areas. Time management and customer service are key factors to success in this position. As well as a strong balance of technical understanding on building envelope, pre-eng buildings, design build contracts, public tender calls, prequalification’s contracts and more.
The desired individual will be a team-oriented and personable with strong communication skills. We are looking for someone who is solution-oriented, has good judgement and thrives in a dynamic work environment. Maintaining excellent customer relations and a high level of service satisfaction is necessary for success in this role. Maintaining and promoting a continuous focus on a high degree of safety during all aspects of the construction process is required.
The requirements of the position are as follows:
- Minimum CET, P.Eng also accepted
- Minimum 5 Years direct Project Management Experience, 3 Years in a Senior Role. Preferable in a mid sized company
- Experience in AutoCAD Revit, Microsoft Office Software’s
- Experience managing construction crews
- Experience in Public and Private contracting is an asset
- Federal Top Secret Security Clearance is considered an asset
