**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manages a team of unionized Logistics Attendants who provide logistics support (material distribution, vehicle inventory, assignment and maintenance etc.) to Field Operations Technicians in the Greater Toronto area
- Develops and maintains partnerships with supplier, service providers, field operations and the logistics planning team
- Ensures ongoing development and implementation of reporting tools and procedures
- Ensures transactions are correctly documented and tracked as well as corporate purchasing policies are enforced
- Provides progress reports to the Associate Director, Real Estate and Field Logistics, and ensures local issues are addressed
- Establishes and communicates company and individual objectives to staff members
- Staff coaching and development supporting a continuous improvement atmosphere, and maximizes efficiency
- Specific projects as assigned

**Critical Qualifications**:

- Post-Secondary Education - Business Administration, or equivalent
- Logistics and / or asset management experience, or similar
- Minimum 5 years experience in a supervisory role (personnel management)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access)

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Operations management experience would be an asset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Bilingual, English and French would be an asset.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines, as well as ability to adapt in a fast-paced and rapidly changing business environment
- Strong analytical skills, organization, and attention to detail
- Able to learn and undertake new challenges as well as critical and innovative thinking ability
- Strong leadership and coaching skills, with an ability to work with a diverse workforce and internal and external customers (superior customer relationship skills)
- Financial analysis experience would be an asset

**Working Conditions**:

- Primarily office/warehouse environment
- Current hours of work are during business hours, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm however some shift work will be required as this role develops.
- Flexibility to work additional hours to meet the needs of the business is required
- Limited travel (Ontario Region) is required

Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
