We are hiring one full time based in Vancouver and one part-time based in the North Shore.

**Who We're Looking For**:We are seeking individuals who embody the qualities of patience, resilience, and a genuine love for both dogs and nature. As an Indiana Bones team member, you should thrive in a self-directed role, capable of working without direct supervision. Our hikes require the ability to confidently handle and control up to six dogs simultaneously. Additionally, you should be prepared to take them to West Van for an off-leash adventure, drop them off at their places after the hike, and be ready to start all over for the afternoon hike. Regardless of the challenges posed by traffic or weather conditions, maintaining a positive outlook is crucial.

**Responsibilities**:As part of the Indiana Bones team, your role will involve picking up six dogs from their respective homes and taking them to West Van for an off-leash adventure. After the hike, you will be responsible for dropping them off at their places. Your day will then restart for the afternoon hike, providing the same level of care and excitement for another group of dogs.

**Disclaimer**

The hired hiker will need training. Indiana Bones provides 1 week of in-loco training to learn the basic commands.

**Job Types**: Permanent, Part-Time and Full-time

**Salary**: $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

- Can you handle the demands of this job? The idea of a viral video showing a harmonious bus ride with an elderly lady and well-behaved dogs is simply a fantasy. While our hikes are generally enjoyable and peaceful, it's important to note that dogs will inevitably have conflicts and engage in excessive barking at times. Additionally, you will likely get dirty during the course of your work. However, witnessing the joy of the dogs when you pick them up and observe them happily exploring off-leash on the trails can make this job incredibly fulfilling.
