We are actively looking to fill the following full-time role within our organization in Sudbury, Ontario.
- **Lead Business and Data Analyst - Posting ID # 003-2024 (1 Positions)**

**Scope of the Role**

The Lead Business & Data Analyst is responsible for providing continuous business improvement support to our corporate, operation and project business units. This position will liaise directly with individuals from the various business units in supporting our digital transformation efforts in such areas of business intelligence, advanced analytics, process improvement, and change management.

**Specific Duties and Responsibilities**
- Provide technical support in leading the integration of business data systems to support data analytics within the enterprise business intelligence platform.
- Perform data analysis to explore data insights using statistical methods to identify trends and make predictions to support data driven business decisions.
- Lead expert level reviews of business processes and assess key strengths and major areas for improvement that meet stakeholder expectations.
- Work with site teams to develop and document business requirements that support future state solutions.
- Create interactive dashboards and reports that effectively communicate insights to stakeholders.
- Work with project sponsors and key stakeholders to develop project charters.
- Work as project manager with business team members to build and deliver project management plans (Cost, Schedule, Resources, Quality ) for related projects.

**Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge**
- Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma in Computer Sciences or Information Technology.
- Data Analytics and/or Business Analysis certification preferred.
- Project Management Professional certification preferred.
- 5-10 years of data analysis and business analysis experience, preferably in the mining and metals industry.
- Resourcefulness and ability to devise creative solutions to problems.
- Excellent written, communication and leadership skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to lead and train site teams.
- Business acumen and ability to develop business cases for improvement opportunities.
- Strong knowledge of the mining operations lifecycle, associated knowledge areas and business processes.
- Strong Project Management skills.
- In depth knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, and Oracle database systems.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python and R.
- Familiarity with Linux and Unix shell scripting, and data warehouses.
- Good computer skills, i.e., Microsoft Office (including Visio and Microsoft Project).
