**Overview**
As a Produce Clerk, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our produce department is well-stocked, organized, and appealing to customers. You will be responsible for maintaining the quality and freshness of fruits and vegetables while providing exceptional customer service. This position requires strong communication skills and a commitment to cleanliness and organization.

**Duties**
- Maintain the produce section by ensuring all items are fresh, well-stocked, and attractively displayed.
- Assist customers with inquiries regarding produce selection and provide recommendations to enhance their shopping experience.
- Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment to uphold health and safety standards.
- Operate a forklift safely to move stock as needed within the department.
- Process transactions accurately at the cashier station when required.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals and provide excellent service.
- Sell produce items effectively by promoting seasonal products or specials to customers.

**Requirements**:

- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for maintaining product displays.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively.
- Ability to maintain a clean work environment in compliance with health regulations.
- Experience in customer service, retail sales, or cashiering preferred.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus for enhancing customer interactions.

Pay: From $17.40 per hour
