We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Marketing Assistant to join our team and help us drive our marketing efforts forward.

**Position Overview**:
As a Marketing Assistant at our defence procurement company, you will play a crucial role in supporting and executing strategic initiatives to promote our products and services. You will be responsible for assisting with various marketing tasks, including market research, content creation, social media management, event coordination, and administrative support. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in marketing within the defense industry.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct research to identify target markets, potential customers and other opportunities.
- Assist in the creation of marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, and other content.
- Support the management of the website, newsletters, and social media platforms, including content creation.
- Help organize events, such as trade shows, customer and supplier meetings, and travel arrangements.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to develop and implement marketing campaigns.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including data entry, maintaining databases, updating documentation, etc.
- Support the development and maintenance of relationships with external vendors, and partners.
- Coordinate with sales and business development teams on special projects and negotiations.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
- Previous experience or internship in marketing or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of the defense industry and familiarity with defense procurement processes is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in:
English: Full professional proficiency (essential for client and partner interactions - mainly international)
French: Professional working proficiency
- Proficiency in using social media platforms for business purposes.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with graphic design tools is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
