**HOURS: DAYS AND WEEKENDS**

**SALARY**:$28.477 (Min.) - $29.157 (Max.)
**Pay rate, benefits and other terms and conditions are as per the CUPE 139 Collective Agreement**

**QUALIFICATIONS**: 

Graduate of a recognized Physiotherapy Assistant and/or Occupational Therapy Assistant program required 
Current BCLS required 
Physical capability and/or able to employ innovative strategies to handle physically impaired patients

required 

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required 
Minimum 2 years recent (within the last 2-3 yrs.) experience in an acute care hospital setting is required 
Experience in an out-patient setting an asset 
Demonstrated computer skills/knowledge required 
Able to organize daily activities efficiently and effectively 
Able to be flexible, resourceful and adaptable 
Able to work independently and under supervision 
Good attendance and work record required 
Must be available for scheduled shifts and call-ins 
Must demonstrate commitment to ensure your safety, the safety of fellow workers, patients, volunteers, and

visitors 

Must support and contribute to a culture of safety and prevention of adverse health events in this
organization 

**_formal French test will be conducted to evaluate the proficiency level._**
