**Job Summary**

Powerco Canada is offering an opportunity for a driven electrical sales professional to join our team in the Northern Alberta area. This position will be responsible for driving outside sales, business development and product demand through a consultative sales process by supporting engineering consultants, OEM partners, and distribution channels. This position operates in a fast-paced dynamic environment where self-motivation, strong communication and time management skills are critical.

**Position Responsibilities**
- Lead major sales opportunities in co-operation with sales team members
- Conduct regular educational presentations for consulting / specifying engineers
- Plan and execute regional sales plans
- Develop ongoing relationships with customers by consulting and providing technical solutions
- Develop and expand channel sales by optimizing Powerco’s product offering, joint sales calls, training and coaching partner companies and their sales teams.
- Source out and develop and close strategic sales opportunities
- Provide timely active quote follow up business opportunities

**Required Skills**:

- Professional selling skills and experience in the industrial or commercial B2B marketplace
- Presentation skills are key to success in this this position
- A keen understanding of the Alberta electrical marketplace
- Strong organizational, time management skills
- Self motivated and able to function independently and as a member of the team
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Salesforce
- Office 365

**Qualifications & Education**
- Minimum post-secondary certificate or diploma (electrical or electronic field is preferred)
- Strong understanding of electrical principles
- Minimum 3 years of outside sales experience
