**Information Technology Support Technician**

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- The first 3-6 months of the role will see the incumbent assisting the IT Manager with document management relating to a crucial software migration project
- Managing server backups, logs, and other systems
- Answering inquiries from staff regarding software & network issues daily and assisting with troubleshooting
- Managing hardware setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Delivering technical training to new and existing staff on the use of our software

**Qualifications**:

- A combination of relevant knowledge, experience, or technical training
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, & Windows 10
- Understanding of networking concepts (IP address, routers, switches, printers, windows active directory)
- The following skills are not required for the position but are considered an asset:

- Knowledge of o/s imaging software
- Experience in scripting language, particularly Visual Basic
- Experience with Microsoft Access Database
- Advanced proficiency with formatting in Microsoft Word
- Experience working with Elite/3m Accounting Software
- Experience working with SAP Crystal Reports
- Ability to quickly learn new procedures and software
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
- Able to multitask and change priorities quickly as business needs dictate
- Demonstrates a professional demeanor, high ethical standards, respect and commitment to service excellence
