**Position Summary**:
Reporting to the Manager, Operations, Work Management, this position is accountable for the overall implementation of the Work Management process using the IPSECA (Initiate, Plan, Schedule, Execute, Close out, Analysis) model. The position is responsible to provide leadership, guidance and coaching to all employees participating in the IPSECA model supporting development of standard methodologies, implementation, adoption and sustainment of the Work Management standard processes. The position plays a visible leadership role leading organizational change and engaging with employees to provide continuous improvements to the model.

Our Business Analyst will engage in collaboration with regional representation and the Work & Asset Management (WAM) program to develop, communicate and implement standard processes to improve how we initiate, plan, and schedule work today. Our incumbent will be a vital member of ATCO and will orchestrate work forecasting and interact with various collaborators such as Regional Reps, Asset Management and others to develop an Annual Forecast and long-term forecast. As our next Business Analyst, you will provide the leadership team with focused, timely and efficient assessments as well as recommended actions to increase the strategic impact of new initiatives.

Although the preferred location for this position will be based in Edmonton, other ATCO Electric service points for the position to be based will be considered.

- Addresses business issues raised by the regional teams and WAM program quickly and efficiently.
- Provide insight on rollout strategy and business transition strategy.
- Collaborate on, and advise others on, support model and recommended priorities.
- Proactively collaborate and maintain meaningful relationships with diverse leadership teams, Project Teams (Asset Management, Engineering, Survey, Lands, Operations) and partners.
- Identify and collaborate with team members to resolve quality concerns and accountability to alter the process design as vital to improve service effectiveness.
- Be responsible for consolidated area business metrics to ensure targets are met and identify trends and issues.
- Lead the evaluation of current processes and provide recommendations and guide the implementation of enhancements where required. Complete evaluations of standard forms, aids, procedures and benchmarked operating procedures to consider their effectiveness.
- Assist in evaluation and selection of technologies/tools pertaining to delivery of projects and workflow management.
- Responsible for the implementation, training and rollout of project processes and procedures.
- Is familiar with and leads in accordance with the Canadian Energy Workers Association (CEWA) collective agreement. Establish and maintain a positive relationship with CEWA representatives.
- Create, analyze, and validate detailed functional specifications and metrics to provide solutions for process improvement.
- Facilitate sessions with business partners in overall process improvement activities and actively follow up towards ensuring the process and product delivers effectively and efficiently.
- Identification and/or implementation of enterprise process improvements. Develop and implement organizational change plans, and communication plans.
- Develop as-is and to-be process models and perform evaluation of business processes, and recommend opportunities for improved efficiency, optimization, and enhancement of business outputs.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Accounting, Commerce or Business.
- 5-7 years’ progressive experience in a role where strong leadership skills and a strong eye for business were proven.
