Description:
As a Tissue Specialist I, you will be responsible for the recovery and processing of human tissues for transplant. As you will be working in a fast-paced environment, you will be required to participate in quality control and quality assurance processes and lab activities related to tissue banking.

**Required Qualifications**:
Completion of Grade 12.

**Additional Required Qualifications**:
Graduation from a health sciences degree program or related field that includes physiology or anatomy. Previous operating room experience. Previous tissue banking experience.

**Preferred Qualifications**:
Certification as a Tissue Specialist or equivalent by a recognized Canadian or American organization. Knowledge of American Association of Tissue Banks and Health Canada Regulations/CSA Standards.
