**Role Overview**:
**What You’ll Be Doing**:
**1)** **Production Scheduling**
- Review master production schedule on a daily basis to ensure materials and staff are in place to meet capacity. Conduct long term schedule forecasting to ensure efficiency.
- Analyze and approve changes to the Master Production schedule
- Maintain constant communication between Factory and Sales to ensure that priorities are achieved.
- Identify discrepancies and mitigate risks for meeting committed ship dates.
- Report to management team on projections for upcoming weeks, months, and quarters.
- Monitor work in progress on the production floor and adjust schedule when required due to material shortages or other production interruptions.
- Manage client expectations after sales and advise client when orders are backordered
- Advise clients when issues with fabric (backordered, flawed, incorrect quantity etc.)

**2)** **Inventory Management/Procurement**
- Manage and review purchase orders for all items to ensure costing, order quantity and lead time is correct.
- Manage physical inventory, documenting location (as specified by the factory manager), quantity, and ensuring our inventory counts are accurate and consistently maintained.
- Systematically review the usage rate of production materials and recommend reorder dates, analyse costs and run reports.

**3)** **Vendor and Supplier Management**
- In conjunction with the Factory Manager, manage the vendor selection process to ensure that the suppliers meet company requirements for quality, lead time and cost effectiveness.
- Ensure have diverse pool of vendors so not reliant on a single vendor for any one product. Maintain and build relationships with vendors to ensure have options available.
- Manage ongoing pricing, lead time and quality issues as they arise with existing vendors.
- Work with vendors responsible for facilities oversight to ensure that our physical space is operating smoothly and meeting the needs of all functional areas.

**4)** **After Sales Support**
- Once sale is approved, the Production & Administration Manager is responsible for all paperwork involved including but not limited to: Creation of Sales Order, Invoice, BOL, Packing Slip, Production Ticket, Purchase Order
- Process all payments for sales orders/invoices (deposit + balance)
- Manage all client inquiries with regard to order ETA’s or anything else to do with the order once in process.
- Create all productions tickets to ensure ticket clearly communicates what is required to produce each item.

**Required Qualifications & Skills**:

- Must have University degree or College diploma in either Business Administration, Commerce, Supply Chain Management or Logistics
- Minimum of 3 + years of directly related experience working with furniture production or comparable product.
- 3-5 years of experience leading a team or group of staff
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of Master Production Scheduling in manufacturing environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Possess exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Thorough and in depth understanding of the supply chain process.
- Must be a self-starter and be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

**Hours: ONSITE- **Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm

**Salary**: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
