Créée en 2015 afin d’harmoniser, d’alléger et de moderniser l’infrastructure du diffuseur public, l’équipe de Technologies et Infrastructures (T et I) est la base dont dépend CBC/Radio-Canada pour se propulser dans l’avenir. C’est nous qui veillons à ce que tout fonctionne bien. Nous créons des liens entre les contenus médias, les systèmes, les personnes et les lieux. Nous sommes l’espace où les idées et les actions se rencontrent.

Aujourd’hui, nous transformons nos activités de radiotélévision traditionnelle pour devenir une entreprise médiatique numérique moderne. La technologie est le moteur de ce changement et nous sommes l’équipe chargée d’y donner vie.

**Ce poste est une combinaison de télétravail et de présence au bureau. Les modalités de travail seront discutées avec les gestionnaires d'embauche selon les lignes directrices déterminées par le secteur.**

**Le poste**

Nous sommes à la recherche d’un administrateur ou d’une administratrice de systèmes enthousiaste qui possède de l’expérience dans la gestion de VMware dans un environnement d’entreprise pour se joindre à notre équipe sur une base contractuelle (6 mois). Relevant du premier chef, Infrastructure, vous ferez partie de l’équipe Exploitation des systèmes, où vous contribuerez à l’évolution et au déploiement de notre infrastructure institutionnelle VMware alors que nous migrons notre centre de données à un nouvel endroit.
En plus de participer aux efforts de Technologies et Infrastructure (T et I) pour le déploiement et l’opérationnalisation de notre nouvelle génération de plateforme de virtualisation, vous aiderez l’équipe à améliorer la documentation, la gestion et la surveillance de cette plateforme.

**Votre profil**

Vous êtes un administrateur ou une administratrice de systèmes responsable de gérer un site virtualisé de taille moyenne, et vous cherchez à passer au niveau supérieur pour travailler sur des systèmes plus importants, une plus grande infrastructure et des exigences plus élevées.

Des défis. Résoudre des problèmes à grande échelle tout en réduisant au minimum les effets sur les activités de production et de diffusion du diffuseur public national est notre lot du quotidien. À ce poste, vous apprendrez à bien connaître nos activités, et pourrez contribuer directement à la réussite des changements apportés à notre infrastructure. Et ce n’est que le début. Vous devrez faire preuve de jugement et exploiter vos connaissances et votre expérience dans la réalisation des tâches suivantes:

- Déploiement. Membre d’une équipe de projet multidisciplinaire, vous jouerez un rôle central pour la planification du projet et la migration des machines virtuelles de l’environnement actuel vers le prochain centre de données, au Centre de radiodiffusion de Toronto.
- Soutien. Vous serez responsable de répondre aux demandes de service des clients et partenaires de l’interne.
Amélioration des procédures. Vous participerez à l’amélioration des processus et procédures de soutien de l’équipe Exploitation des systèmes, et à la documentation de ceux-ci.
Renforcement de l’infrastructure. Sous la direction du superviseur de l’exploitation de la plateforme, vous participerez aux activités de dépannage et à l’amélioration de l’infrastructure.
Échange. Vous ferez partie d’une équipe ouverte aux nouvelles idées et aux commentaires de tout le monde, et pourrez saisir toutes les occasions de transmettre vos connaissances et de proposer vos idées.
- Participation à une étape cruciale pour nos activités d’exploitation. Nous cherchons actuellement des personnes capables de mettre en œuvre notre stratégie. Des technologues qui souhaitent mettre la main à la pâte et qui sont fiers de créer les technologies médias de la prochaine génération pour les Canadiens et les Canadiennes.
- Technologie de pointe. Vous vous joindrez à l’équipe à un moment clé, et pourrez aider CBC/Radio-Canada à mettre en place un environnement technique à la fine pointe où l’équipe aura accès au matériel et aux logiciels les plus récents. C
