Babysitter/nanny

**Overview**

**Duties**
- Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times.
- Plan and engage in activities that promote learning and development
- Maintain a clean and organized environment, including tidying up play areas.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's behaviour and any concerns.
- Provide emotional support and encouragement to help children develop confidence and independence.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in caregiving or working with children is required.
- Strong understanding of child development principles and educational techniques.
- Ability to create a safe, fun, and stimulating environment for children.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Patience, creativity, and a positive attitude are essential traits.
- First Aid/CPR certification is required
- Must be able to provide references from previous childcare positions.
- Must be able to work MORNINGS 9-Noon, and be a team player to work the odd Saturday morning, and evenings as needed for shift trades.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Expected hours: 6 - 12 per week
