Helping Hands Nanny and Au Pair Services is looking for passionate, responsible, and qualified childcare providers. We provide a safe and secure way to book private childcare services and connect families with providers. Families are looking for a variety of childcare options, includes live in and live out, as well as full time, part time, and casual. Set your own hours and find flexible income generating opportunities. Currently recruiting providers in the areas of Sherwood Park, Ardrossan, Strathcona County and Fort Saskatchewan.

Job Responsibilities
- Provide high quality childcare services in the family’s home.
- Create opportunities for physical activity and educational engagement with the children.
- Lead children in fun activities.
- Provide light household duties and meal prep as agreed upon with the family.
- Prioritize safety and well being of children at all times.
- Assist in driving or walking children to and from school or activities if requested by the family.
- Administer medication or health care as directed by the family.

Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 14 years old.
- Standard Childcare First Aid CPR Level B or First Aid CPR Level C is required.
- Clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector check.
- Babysitter course is considered an asset.
- Early Childhood Educator Certificate Level 1, 2 or 3 considered an asset.
- Valid drivers license considered an asset.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Demonstrate a high level of organization and multitasking skills.
- Ability to follow written and verbal directions.
- Ability to receive constructive feedback.
- Child-care related references will be requested.

Hours of work: Varies.

Wage: Varies

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Pay: $15.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week

**Experience**:

- childcare: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- CPR Certification and First Aid (required)

Work Location: In person
