SUMMARY:
Vitran Express in Vaughn is now hiring A **Full Time **Rail Drayage Clerk

**Description**:

- Oversee rail operation and administrative support team
- Coordinate with departments to ensure all freight movements are on time
- Foster drayage fleet activity to maximize productivity and efficiencies
- Collaborate and work effectively with related terminal functions, in particular dispatch activities
- Perform to meet automated KPI’s
- RV utilization, requirements, cancellations
- Oversee rail equipment requirements for both rails (ensure Impex orders are booked); ensure timely loading of units to reduce detention from rail

**Requirements**:

- Minimum: High school diploma with related industry experience, Degree strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft products: Excel, Word, Outlook.
- Ability to multi-task while interacting with others in a fast paced environment.
- Incumbent must be organized and able to understand transportation rules and regulations.
- Incumbent must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
