Part-time - Approximately 10 hours a month

Are you a college student with a passion for social media and a genuine interest in mental health issues? We're looking for a Social Media Student Intern to join our team remotely and who is excited to contribute fresh ideas to our psychotherapy practice’s online presence. This role is perfect for individuals who are not only immersed in social media culture but also eager to contribute to destigmatizing mental health topics through engaging content on platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok.

**Responsibilities**:

- Create compelling and relatable content for our social media channels, focusing on LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok, to spark conversations and raise awareness about mental health issues.
- Stay informed about the latest trends in both mental health advocacy and social media, conducting research and brainstorming innovative content ideas to resonate with our audience.
- Collaborate closely with Founder/Clinical Director to ensure that your content aligns with our brand identity and advocacy goals.
- Maintain an organized content deck, including video uploads, edits, and feedback, to streamline our content creation process.
- Participate in virtual meetings with our team to contribute your insights and collaborate on upcoming campaigns.

About You:

- Currently enrolled full-time in a two or four-year university or college program.
- Pursuing a degree in psychology, social work, communications, marketing, or a related field.
- Demonstrated passion for mental health advocacy and social media content creation, with active and cohesive personal social media channels that align with our brand ethos.
- Proficiency in navigating various social media platforms, with a keen eye for emerging trends and features.
- Strong creative skills, with the ability to conceptualize and execute engaging written and visual content that tackles sensitive topics with empathy and understanding.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey ideas and collaborate with team members.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $16.55-$25.24 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 3 per week
