Quality Control Inspector

We are seeking a talented Quality Control Inspector. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting and ensuring the quality of outgoing product meets Elmwood’s quality assurance specifications.
**A PIVOTAL ROLE ON A LARGE TEAM.**
- Inspect and monitor quality requirements in accordance with Elmwood’s quality assurance policies and customer specifications
- Conduct visual inspections to identify any defects or abnormalities in product appearance
- Perform quality inspections on incoming materials, in-process components, and finished cabinets
- Work closely with the production team to resolve inspections questions, identify non-conformances and take immediate action to support corrective action and resolution of all issues.
- Perform product identification and traceability activities, as required.
- Fill inspection sheets as needed
- Report quality issues to quality coordinator and production manager
- Ensure company QMS standards are followed and maintained
- Work with quality coordinator to perform root cause analysis to correct quality issues and customer complaints
- Interpret customer drawings and paperwork

- Strong knowledge of quality assurance principles and practices
- Experience with manufacturing processes

- Knowledge of QA/QC methodologies and techniques
- Familiarity with quality management systems and standards
