Property Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician’s primary responsibility is to perform day to day property maintenance and address maintenance concerns from both residential and commercial tenants.
**Duties will include but will not be limited to**:
- Completing all daily maintenance calls
- Conduct any necessary **minor** repairs to the property/equipment (i.e. painting, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, locks, windows, doors.)
- Monitor the property for health & safety concerns
- Ensure the overall appearance of all the properties are maintained to a high standard
- Assist external contractors with repairs/inspections (i.e. HVAC, trades people, etc.)
- Provide exceptional customer service to all clients
- Be available to be on call, after hours, for at least one week/weekend a month, possibly more depending on staffing
- Other duties as assigned
**Minimum Qualifications**:
- Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
- 3 years experience in similar employment
- Ability to operate power tools
- Valid Driver’s License and clean drivers abstract
- Basic PC skills
- CPR and First Aid certification an asset
- Communicate clearly, concisely, professionally and convey active listening and openness
- Produce accurate work with attention to detail and consistently meet deadlines
