**Position Summary**

We are looking for students who are interested in pursuing/exploring careers in Supply Chain. The Supply Chain co-op/ internship duration is May 6th, 2024 until Aug 23rd, 2024 (some flexibility based on academic calendars).

This position will be based out of our Florenceville, NB, Canada office.

The Supply Chain Co-op/Intern will join the North American Supply Chain organization at McCain Foods and contribute to its goals and objectives. This role will support one primary function, which could include Planning, Logistics, Customer Solutions, E2E Network Operations or Supply Chain Excellence. The Supply Chain Intern is expected to gain a broad understanding of supply chain processes and tools, potentially including inventory management, capacity planning, demand/supply planning, warehouse management, transportation, planning, customer relationship management and analytics.

**The Team**
McCain’s North American Supply Chain team is right in the middle of the action. Our team of approximately 150 people consists of five primary functions - Planning, Logistics, Customer Solutions, E2E Network Operations and Supply Chain Excellence. We are responsible for planning and operating the Supply Chain across all product categories and engaging with stakeholders across the North American and Global business. You will find you are surrounded by team members looking out for one another and always available to help someone in need.

Participants will establish a great foundation for their career by learning the following:

- A breakdown of core supply chain functions, along with major roles and responsibilities for each
- Essential business skills, including time management, cross-functional communication, and work/life balance
- An ability to manage and organize large datasets
- An understanding of the food and beverage industry, including both food service and retail channels

**What You Need to be Successful**
- Pursuing Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related discipline
- Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to work with complex data
- Detail oriented with the ability to work with speed and accuracy
- Ability to investigate complex issues and conduct root cause analysis
- Self-motivated, analytical, and independent thinker
- Results focused with a bias towards decisive action
- Effectively communicates complex results and recommendations in a dynamic environment
- Excellent problem solving, organization and planning skills
- High proficiency in tools used for data analysis such as Excel is a must, while Access a plus
