**General Maintenance**

**Job Summary**:
The General Maintenance Technician is responsible for general maintenance activities within the maintenance department. General maintenance may include general repairs, general cleaning and maintenance of facility equipment, etc.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for performing routine preventative maintenance on all facility equipment.
- Performs general repairs to electrical, plumbing, and other systems.
- Maintains general building exterior & interior furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
- Maintains and monitors HVAC system; reports any issues to the Maintenance Manager.
- Maintains and manages inventory of all maintenance supplies; reports any shortages or shortages to the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Maintains clean and organized work areas; organizes materials as needed; proper supply handling procedures; maintains clean work area exterior including trash removal.

**Required Skills**:

- Knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, and other systems troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of basic mechanical processes.
- Ability to troubleshoot problems quickly and efficiently.
- Ability to perform small repairs including painting - vinyl repair an asset.

**Salary**: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
