**Elements Casino Victoria**:
Elements Casino Victoria is a spacious facility with 750 slot machines, plus poker, blackjack, baccarat and roulette tables on beautiful Vancouver Island. This facility is equipped with a restaurant as well.

Be the life of the party and bring your exceptional service skills to the table at our restaurants and live entertainment space. **Elements Casino Victoria **is on the lookout for a **Server **to join our Food & Beverage team. If you are personable, energetic, passionate about the Gaming, Food & Beverage and Entertainment Industry and love working in a fast paced dynamic environment, then this could be the opportunity for you. **What You’ll Get to DO (Key Accountabilities)**
- Informs guests of any daily specials
- Explains how various menu items or beverages are prepared if applicable
- Takes the guests orders and makes recommendations
- Serves the guests and checks to ensure satisfaction
- Prepares food and beverages if applicable
- Resolves guests issues or asks management for assistance
- Presents bill upon request and takes payment in the absence of a cashier
- Cleans tables or counters, removes dishes and re-stocks where applicable
- Performs opening or closing duties as required
- Counts cash float at end of shift if applicable
- Covers other servers’ sections when required
- Liaises and communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments
- Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
- Performs other duties as assigned or directed.

**What you’ll need to be Successful (Education and Qualification Requirements)**
- Minimum 1 year serving experience
- Serving it Right Certificate
- Post Secondary hospitality or hotel education an asset
- Ability to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, effective and service oriented communication
- POS and Squirrel experience
- Ability to work well in a team environment, strong communication & organizational skills
- A passion for providing the Essential Elements of Excellence Guest Service to our internal and external guests
- A willingness to learn, develop and achieve new skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced, busy environment
- Possess a high level of honesty and integrity
- Excellent multi-tasking skill
- Ability to successfully obtain and maintain a criminal record and credit check through the Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch (GPEB)
