**THE POSITION**
In support of a high-growth mandate, we’re hiring for the position of Lab Operations Specialist to join our dynamic and highly engaged Care Delivery Operations team. You’ll have the opportunity to personally impact the future of healthcare by providing administrative support to our healthcare provider network to ensure that patients receive accurate and timely lab work results.
In this position, you’ll work collaboratively with multiple teammates and healthcare providers to support the processing of incoming lab and diagnostic imaging documents in accordance with Maple’s policies and procedures, as well as privacy and information security requirements. As a Specialist, you’ll leverage your problem-solving, prioritization, and communication skills to support other members of the team and healthcare providers on a daily basis, including reviewing others’ work and handling escalations, as well as supporting documentation, training, change management, and quality assurance processes.
**Critical to success in this role** will be your time management, communication, and digital literacy skills, coupled with a strong eye for detail and passion for process. You thrive in a well-structured environment that’s fast-paced, highly supportive, and collaborative.

Note:_**_ This is a back-office operations role. A background in healthcare, or as a Medical Office Assistant, or Medical Receptionist, is considered an asset, but not required._
