Brampton, Canada Peak ABA Services Inc., Full time

Location: Peak ABA Services Brampton, Ontario, online remote therapy, and travel to communities and schools in Brampton.

Hours: Flexible hours Monday to Friday

**Salary**: $65 to $100 per hour depending on the expereince

Key responsibilities:

- Provide comprehensive speech and language assessment to children with suspected communication difficulties in the following areas: articulation, language, fluency, motor speech, voice, and pragmatic/social communication. Knowledge and experience with a range of developmental disabilities including autism spectrum disorder, Down syndrome, and fetal alcohol syndrome.
- Provide resources to parents to help them better understand the etiology and physiology of their communication difficulties or impairment or their child’s communication difficulties.
- Administer screening protocols.
- Create, follow, and adapt treatment plans for individuals and group sessions.
- Develop and lead engaging therapy sessions and care-giver workshops.
- Assist in the development of online content, future programming, and service offerings.
- Consult and collaborate with community partners including resource teachers, schools, local children’s treatment centers, etc.
- Maintain knowledge of current practices and equipment in speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:

- Master’s degree in speech-language pathology.
- Member in good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO).
- Membership with the Ontario Association of Speech-Language Pathologist and Audiologists (OSLA) or Speech-Language & Audiology Canada (SAC) preferred.
- Experience working with preschool and school-aged children.
- Demonstrate flexibility and time-management skills to manage an ever-changing caseload.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent assessment and intervention skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team with other disciplines.
- Comfort with technology, including Zoom video-conferencing technology and Microsoft Office.
- Vulnerable sector check.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $70.00-$90.00 per hour
