Brampton, Canada Renewed Family Services Inc. Full time

Renewed Family Services Inc. is seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our dynamic and supportive team As an SLP at Renewed Family Services, you'll play a vital role in helping individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disabilities achieve their communication goals.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct comprehensive assessments using standardized tools to evaluate speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs.
- Provide evidence-based therapy interventions targeting articulation, language comprehension, fluency, social communication, and feeding.
- Collaborate effectively with families, caregivers, to ensure collaborative care.
- Monitor and track client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to maximize outcomes.
- Educate and empower clients and their families with strategies to support communication and swallowing skills in everyday life.
- Maintain current knowledge of best practices in speech-language pathology through continuing education.
- Adhere to the professional standards of the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO).
- Provide regular supervision and guidance to Communication Disorders Assistants (CDA’s), ensuring adherence to treatment plans and ethical guidelines.
- Delegate tasks appropriately, considering the CDA's skills and experience.
- Monitor and evaluate the CDA's performance, providing constructive feedback and support for professional development.
- Oversee the CDA's documentation and record-keeping.
- Ensure the CDA is providing services in accordance with CASLPO regulations.

**Qualifications**:

- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Registration with the CASLPO.
- Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disabilities.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Strong commitment to providing high-quality, evidence-based, compassionate care.
- Completed vulnerable sector check.
- Two years or more of clinical experience working as an SLP is preferred
- Expertise in feeding, AAC, developmental delays/disorders, and parent/caregiver coaching is highly desired.
- Previous experience supervising CDAs is an asset
