**Manager, Security (IT/IM)**
We are seeking an experienced Manager, Security to join our dynamic growing team.
As the Manager, Security, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our organization's sensitive data and ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of our infrastructure and information assets. You will lead a talented team of security professionals and collaborate with cross-functional departments to implement and maintain robust security measures. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving the organization's IT/IM security strategy, risk assessment, incident response, and compliance efforts.
In this role, you will also be responsible for monitoring and anticipating cybersecurity risks, developing proactive risk mitigation strategies, and ensuring effective policies, procedures, and best practices are implemented to protect E-Comm from cybersecurity threats or attacks.
We are seeking an experienced people leader who has demonstrated experience in maturing an enterprise-wide security function.
Key responsibilities in this role include:
- Developing and implementing an integrated information security program that meets organizational requirements
- Providing strategic assessments on threat landscape, SOC technology trends, and emerging security technologies
- Leading the design and execution of high quality, thorough cybersecurity maturity assessments
- Providing reports, briefings and risk-based recommendations on routine and non-routine security events and incidents including responding to organizational crises (e.g. business systems shut-downs)
- Reviewing, approving and directing the design and implementation of benchmarks, measurements and metrics used for measuring and improving the performance of the Information Security Management Systems
- Monitoring and managing relationships with security services and technologies providers
- Ensuring a thorough understanding of related industry trends, technological developments and emerging best practices in information security and cybersecurity
- Accountable for Security operations which include:
- 7x24 monitoring of security events
- Leading the cyber security incident response team
- Vulnerability, threat identification and risk management
- Ensuring effective collaboration with Technology Infrastructure & network teams on issues pertaining to:
- Patch management
- Firewall auditing and best practices
- End point security
**WHAT YOU BRING**
Completion of a university degree in computer science or a related discipline plus extensive related experience
- Recognized accreditation in information security such as Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) designation or Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP) designation is required
- Minimum of 8 years IT experience including 5 years proven experience in Cybersecurity, information security or related technical field and at least 3 years supervisory/leadership experience
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) is highly desirable
- ITIL Foundation v3 or later accreditation is preferred
**SECURITY REQUIREMENTS**:
As a condition of employment at E-Comm, the required Police Security Clearance applicable to the position must be acquired and maintained. This is a process carried out by our law enforcement partner agencies, facilitated by E-Comm. The minimum residency in Canada to qualify for this position, as established by our law enforcement partner agencies, is 5 years.
