Freight Broker

Overview:
We are seeking for an experienced individual in the transportation industry to join our team as a Freight Broker.

This job best suits to someone that has worked or works aa a Freight broker and has the skills of knowing and how's.

**Duties**:

- Responsible for building relationship and sell to new clients through phone or one-on-one.
- Perform heavy cold-calling to build a pipeline of businesses
- Responsible for price and service negotiation with customers and carriers
- Responsible for supervising shipments until delivery completed to guarantee smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
- Stay informed about industry trends, freight rates, and market conditions to offer strategic advice and solutions.
- Prepare and manage all necessary documentation related to freight transactions, including contracts, shipping orders, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Resolve any issues or delays that may arise during the transportation process

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 2 years experience in freight brokerage or logistics
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Understanding of supply chain processes and best practices

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year

Additional pay:

- Commission pay
