On-site Landlord Representative

Safeway Holdings (Alberta) Ltd is looking for a full time On-Site Landlord Representative in Fort McMurray, to assist in managing about 100 residential units and commercial spaces.

This position requires the ability to interact professionally with all clients/customers by way of telephone or in person. The position demands flexibility, a high degree of organizational skills, and calmness to manage a variety of priorities and changing deadlines. It also requires the ability to troubleshoot when unexpected situations demand it. The position is responsible for providing tenant service on site and administrative support to the Property & Maintenance team in order to ensure effective and efficient operations.

**Qualifications**:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Excellent customer service experience
- Work well with others
- Computer literacy, including intermediate level MS Outlook skills
- Experience in Yardi an asset
- Must have a valid class 5 driver license

Reporting to Residential Property Manager, the duties include but are not limited to:

- Provide tours to potential tenants
- Organization of tenant unit and mailbox keys
- Collection of leases and move in/out documents and sharing with Head Office
- Move in/out inspections for residential and commercial tenants
- Collection of rent and security deposits and prepare deposits
- Delivery of notices to tenants
- Arrange for maintenance and repairs inside of units as required
- Inspections and reporting on common area cleanliness and repair
- Inspect vacant residential and commercial units weekly
- Respond to tenant calls - residential and commercial
- Participate in budgeting - residential and commercial
- Conduct regular tenant visits
- Provide backup to Residential Property Manager at other property(s)
- Maintenance of cleanliness of show suites (dusting, wiping floors if they get marked up by people’s shoes etc... keeping the bathrooms neat and clean etc...)
- Make residential and commercial units ready for move in (assemble / moving furniture, minor cleaning, etc )
- Scheduling move ins and move outs, booking elevator and co-ordinating timing with the hotel and/or condo management company
- Other ad hoc duties as required

**Salary**: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
