This position is located at our sales and service dealership in Burnaby, BC.

**THE OPPORTUNITY**

The Lube Bay Technician will be responsible for performing oil changes on buses and commercial transport trucks. Further responsibilities include helping service technicians with repairs whenever needed.

**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Performs services on buses, trucks and trailers (should have some tools).
- Assists technicians with brake repairs.
- Performs all services required in a timely manner.
- Performs miscellaneous tasks as assigned by technicians or Service Management (ie. Department Manager, Assistant Manager or Shop Foreman).
- Cleans oil storage tanks according to prescribed procedures.
- Drains and disposes of used oil filters properly.
- Follows all branch safety procedures as per the Company’s Health & Safety Manual.
- Other duties may be assigned

**WHAT WE LOOK FOR**
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) essential
- Some education, experience, or interest in heavy truck repair
- Ability to become WHMIS certified
- Ability to become forklift certified
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to proactively problem-solve and think logically
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to self-manage time and priorities
- Strong organizational skills

- Accountability and dependability
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 kgs or 50 pounds.
- Must be willing and able to work various shifts, possibly including weekends.
