**This position is on the day shift: 7:30am - 4:00pm Monday to Friday.**

**We are looking for someone who enjoys to work on building/putting together large objects and is mechanically inclined.**

**Responsibilities of this position include**:

- Read, interpret, and follow basic diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications and other written instructions to accurately assemble equipment and products
- Utilize handheld tools such as handheld wrenches, sockets, air guns
- Follow and help maintain assembly procedure specifications
- Keep work areas clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment and facilities
- Lift raw materials, final products and items packed for shipment. Manually lift up to 50lbs
- Work with other departments within the shop to ensure the products are made correctly and on time
- Use overhead cranes to assembler larger components

**Qualifications**
- No experience necessary
- Interest in mechanics preferred
- Ability to lift heavy materials
- Self starter, ambitious, eager to learn
- Experience with operating machines, power tools and overhead cranes
- Previous experience in a manufacturing setting considered an asset
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $19.00-$24.00 per hour
