**WHAT TO EXPECT**:
We are currently looking for someone who is willing to put their training skills and energy to good use within our team

Reporting to the Director of Operations, the incumbent's main mandate will be to integrate new employees, train workers in OHS, quality, productivity and management systems. In addition, he will ensure the development of internal resources.

Here's an overview of your tasks:
Integration component
- Integrate new workers according to company policies
- Follow up on training, development and validation of knowledge and skills acquired by newly hired workers
- Support the operations teams when employees change positions within the manufacturing operations
- Participate in the integration of foreign workers

Training component
- Integrate a web platform for training follow-up
- Update and deploy training material in relation to the different functions of the company
- Maintain the follow-up of training plans and implement a KPI
- Ensure the follow-up and dissemination of new work methods, new equipment and quality issues with the entire team
- Create audit grids for operations and participate in their execution

Competency development component
- Develop relationships with the various stakeholders in the field of metallurgy in order to integrate best practices within the work teams
- Evaluate, in collaboration with supervisors, current and future training needs
- Build an annual training calendar
- Follow up on skills updates by maintaining the matrix
- Participate in the annual evaluation of production employees

**WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR**:

- DEC in mechanical/industrial engineering techniques or any other relevant training/experience
- Good knowledge of occupational health and safety, performance indicators and work methods
- Demonstrated ability to provide inspirational leadership
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good organizational skills and ability to manage priorities
- Ability to use computer tools (Office Suite, Internet, etc.)
- Knowledge of the metallurgy industry (asset)
