Manufacturing Project Coordinator

**WHAT TO EXPECT**:
The coordinator's mandate will be to monitor tracked assembly production start-up activities, as well as equipment implementation and retrofit projects. The incumbent will work in collaboration with the Director of Operations, project managers, project leaders and managers of each function within the subsidiary to report on the progress of the various action plans and identify issues to ensure that deliverables are met. He/she will also organize and lead the various meetings of the multidisciplinary team.
Reporting to the Planning Department Manager, the incumbent's main mandate will be to monitor the activities of the multidisciplinary team in connection with the various production start-up and equipment implementation projects:
- Monitor the progress of the various stakeholders' action plans and set the pace for the project
- Mobilize stakeholders to ensure timely completion of projects
- Be responsible for the overall action plan and report on the progress of the various projects using various tools, such as dashboards, KPIs, etc.
- Involve the company's various departments in multidisciplinary teams, as well as external suppliers, in order to carry out projects according to simultaneous engineering.
- Coordinate the evaluation of resources (human, financial and technical) in order to prepare project files for presentation to the Executive Committee.
- Monitor project costs (equipment, labor, tools, etc.) and deadlines
- Organize and lead project follow-up meetings with multidisciplinary teams
- Identify project issues and bring the multidisciplinary team together to resolve them
- Support project managers and those responsible for each function to ensure that deliverables are completed on time
- Work with various stakeholders to improve the go-live process to be implemented
- Work in close collaboration with the PDP project coordinator to implement more effective tools for project tracking.
- Participate in the definition of the complete process for production start-up and equipment implementation, based in particular on the Product Development Process (PDP).

**WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR**:
- BAC in GOP or administration or equivalent training
- Technical training (an asset)
- 3 to 5 years' experience in project management or coordination, or other relevant experience
- Strong interest in project management
- Ability to influence, cross-functional leadership
- Dynamic individual who enjoys taking on new challenges
- Thoroughness and excellent organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Bilingualism (an asset)
