**The Opportunity**

The Manager, Affordable Housing Programs will be responsible for development and delivery of affordable
housing programs through community outreach, meeting program performance outcome targets, developing

improved work processes and encouraging affordable housing programs and opportunities across the District.

**What you will do: What you will need**:

- Coordinate all aspects of the affordable housing

programs through: legislation, policies, guidelines,

standards and legal agreements with all parties who

are recipients of financial assistance related to
- housing affordability.- Assist in developing program targets and goals.
- Solicit, receive and assess funding and subsidy

housing and enhance affordability within the existing

non-profit and private sector housing stock.
- Graduation from a three-year post-secondary

program in social or human services or
equivalent, with university preferred.
- Three (3) years of directly related experience,

such as project development, contract
administration, marketing, community
outreach, and supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of construction, development and

rental practices, and affordable housing
programs and services.

This is a **permanent full-time** opportunity at the District. The annualized compensation range for this
