We are searching for a **Long Term Care Assistant **to join our Ryan Hall team based in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia.

**About the Opportunity**
- Spending one on one time with residents to provide company, meaningful and appropriate conversation and support
- Answering call bells and redirecting residents when appropriate
- Supporting residents in recreation programming
- Assisting residents with eating under the direction of nursing staff
- Employee screening including measuring and recording temperatures
- Promoting and enforcing social distancing protocols
- Monitoring points of entry
- Assisting with family visits, meal services, daily activities and other tasks such as using technology
- Performing light housekeeping duties for residents (bed making, linen delivery, cleaning)

**About You**

In addition to placing high value on continuous improvement, collaboration and accountability, you bring:

- A post-secondary education, have valid CPR/First Aid training, Food Handlers Certification and/or experience working in a healthcare environment.
- Previous work experience that is client focused, safety minded and covers a broad skillset.
- Available to work shifts on days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- You are adaptable, friendly and eager to provide assistance where necessary.
- A passion for the healthcare sector and/or ensuring seniors have access to quality accommodations, services and care.
