**Summary of Role**:
An established and growing financial planning practice is seeking a Financial Services Associate to join our team. This is an opportunity for a career-oriented individual who wishes to leverage their existing financial background and grow their skills within our branch. The primary purpose is to work closely with an Advisor (Branch Owner) to administratively support their growing book of business by providing effective client service.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist financial advisors with client service, including scheduling and coordinating client meetings and virtual calls.
- Manage and maintain digital client records
- Execute various communications, such as market update newsletters
- Hold some knowledge of securities, mutual funds, and insurance industry
- Prepare simple tax returns for individuals (training can be provided)

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary education
- 5+ years of relevant administrative assistant /customer service experience
- Strong working knowledge in Microsoft Office - Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook
- Working knowledge of these tools considered an asset: Box, Salesforce, DocuSign, Tax Software
- Additional financial courses, credits/or licensing within the financial services industry is an asset
- has an interest or played competitive sports

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Toronto, ON M5M 3Y1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 5 years (preferred)
