Circular Rubber Technologies is seeking to hire an impact-driven **Facility General Manager**, who will be entrusted with the overall safe, profitable, and sustainable operation of Circular Rubber's Red Deer, Alberta Facility. The Red Deer facility is Circular Rubber’s flagship facility and a first of a kind in the world. It will serve as a future R&D facility and a blueprint for Circular Rubber expansion to other regions. This role calls for a leader who will champion growth, demonstrate inclusive leadership principles, ensure compliance and safety standards are upheld, and foster a collaborative and supportive workplace for all. Direct and open communication and an effective relationship with Circular Rubber’s management team is key to the overall success of the business.

**Responsibilities**:*

As the Facility General Manager based at Circular Rubber’s Red Deer facility, you will be responsible for:
**Operational Leadership and Management**:

- Accountable for the safe operation and maintenance of key operational assets
- Provide leadership and management of facility operations while adhering to Standard Operating Procedures and Policies (S&OP)
- Leadership of technical resource management and hiring and training
- Maintain service levels in accordance with contractual agreements

**Financial Performance**:

- Responsible for running the cost center in the most effective way
- Contribute to annual budget planning
- Meet/exceed budget expectations and key performance indicators for facility operations

**Efficiency and Productivity Enhancement**:

- Establish an effective management system to increase efficiency and productivity in production, warehouses, and inventories
- Leading and facilitating an effective employee training and development program

**Reporting, Compliance, and Risk Management**:

- Ensure accurate and timely preparation and submission of all reports, documentation, and records regarding plant operations to senior management, community stakeholders, and operations teams at all levels
- Oversee and monitor necessary risk mitigation activities

**Education /Experience**
- Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
- Minimum of 5+ years of relevant facility/production supervisory experience.
- A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as operations management, engineering, or business administration is an asset.

**Technical Qualifications**:

- 3 years' experience managing a full budget process.
- 3 years' experience implementing continuous improvement processes.
- Demonstrated understanding of management principals, including finance, health & safety, inventory management, quality and HR and compliance to company policies, procedures and standards.

- Proven leadership skills with the ability to provide effective guidance and direction to a diverse and collaborative team in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering strong collaboration with cross-functional teams, senior management, and stakeholders.

- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities to identify issues, analyze data, and implement appropriate solutions.

- Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Adaptability and resilience to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
