We currently have a opportunity for a TECHNICAL SUPPORT SPECIALIST - SERVICE DESK

Job Duties/Responsibilities and Details

Experience and Qualifications

Post-secondary education in applicable discipline

A minimum of two years’ experience in technical support and/or help-desk environments.

Expertise in supporting several of the following areas is desired: Windows Active Directory Environments’; RDP; IT Call Tracking (ServiceNow, Ivanti, Remedy), Virtual Learning Environments (Brightspace, Google Classroom) Chromebooks, iOS, MacOS, and TCPIP, Ethernet and WiFi Networks.

Experience with supporting multiple Microsoft 365 products (Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, etc.)

Experience in presenting, designing, and implementing effective training programs.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to deal effectively with Board personnel technical staff.

Demonstrated commitment to working in a diverse school community and/or work environment

Record of satisfactory on-the-job performance while employed by the Peel District School Board.
