Job Opportunity: Childcare & School Transportation Support

We are seeking a responsible, caring individual to assist with childcare and school transportation for a Grade 7 boy. The role involves driving from the Kanaka area to Edith McDermott Elementary School. The schedule may vary, with responsibilities either in the morning or after school.

Schedule:

- Some days: 7:15 AM - 10:30 AM
- Other days: 7:15 AM - 12:45 PM (or after school)

Exact schedule to be provided in advance.

**Responsibilities**:

- Providing safe and timely school transportation.
- Ensuring he has completed morning routines such as washing, brushing teeth, taking medication, and eating breakfast (he is independent but needs occasional check-ins).
- Supporting a boy with autism and ADHD who is comfortable discussing his needs openly.

**Requirements**:

- Valid driver's license.
- Willingness to provide a Driver’s Abstract.
- Reliable vehicle and transportation.
- Experience with children, especially those with neurodiversity, is a plus.
- Provide a Criminal Record Check.

Compensation:

- Wage: $20.00 per hour
- Mileage: To be determined based on budget.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 10 per week
