**Job Summary**

**Olympia Tile** is a ceramic tile wholesale distribution operation in Canada and the United States. Olympia has more than 50 distribution, showroom, and manufacturing facilities occupying overall greater than 4.2 million square feet of warehousing to accommodate the most comprehensive range of products and the largest supply-ready inventories. With more than 900 employees, Olympia’s organization is extremely well-equipped to cater most efficiently to every requirement of the architectural, design profession, the tile trade and building industry.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Assist to drive sales, maintain and grow existing accounts, generate new business and sales channel opportunities, and work with an existing A&D base throughout the assigned sales territory.
- Assist Architectural and Design community with design and product selections to complete their projects for the purpose of generating project specifications.
- Ability to call on the Architect and Design community, to present and promote products for the purpose of generating project specifications.
- Maintain sample libraries at design and architect firms, keeping current with the latest introductions and removing discontinued products promptly.
- Recognize and develop relationships with National Account specifiers.
- Conduct luncheon seminars to provide education on product characteristics or new products.
- Provide timely and accurate technical information for product specifications and quotations.
- Follow up with clients to make sure that product information as provided is sufficient and specifications are held and enter the bid process.
- Communicate with outside sales representatives, offering sales support and backup during absences.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Experience in the tile and flooring industry, preferably with Ceramic Tile.
- Successful track record in outside sales with value based products and services.
- Enthusiastic, creative and customer-focused leader with a demonstrated track record of building excellent long-term customer relationships.
- Must have good design skills.
- Pro-active, self-motivated, independent, quick learner and organized.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Maintain the ability to lift and transport tile samples weighing up to 20 lbs.
- Have a professional appearance.
