Kardium’s mission is to deliver the best treatment for atrial fibrillation. To achieve this, we have developed The Globe® Pulsed Field System - we have a fantastic technical team that has developed a product with strong, unique, and customer-valued differentiators versus other solutions on the market. We have built connections with key opinion leaders who are already using the Globe System and are helping to tell our story.
We have now completed our pivotal clinical study and our focus is on regulatory approvals and commercial launch. This is an exciting and significant milestone in our journey to bring this ground-breaking technology to patients.
You will be joining the Technical Publications team as a Technical Writer Co-op. Working with the other Technical Writers on the team and colleagues in Engineering, Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Training, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, and Product Management, you will gain considerable knowledge about working in the medical device industry and engage in activities that develop practical and transferable skills.
Please note, this opportunity is a hybrid work arrangement, located in Burnaby, BC.
Meaningful work you will be a part of
You will engage in activities that develop practical and transferable skills such as:

- Write and edit technical documentation for clinical staff, for example instructions for use, pocket guides, training manuals, and product labels.
- Work with a contract illustrator to ensure that technical illustrations used in labeling are updated as needed.
- Maintain and improve the technical publications infrastructure including style guides, templates, cascading style sheets, work instructions, and file storage.
- Assist in the verification and approval of labeling documents.
- Work with tools such as MadCap Flare, Adobe Illustrator, SharePoint, and BarTender.
