As a technical writer at Avari, you take pride in providing clarity in language and good documentation practices, continually looking to improve contents. You contribute to planning and writing concise accurate content to assist customers in learning and using the DAS system. In this role, you will collaborate with sales and marketing, research and development, customer support, and various cross-functional teams to define documentation goals, prioritize tasks, and contribute to overall customer experience. You will support different teams by working with colleagues to build content and contributing to department innovations.

**Qualifications**
- Familiarity with telecommunications equipment, public safety, digital distributed antenna systems, and associated operations & maintenance
- Ability to analyze and interpret hardware/software/system specifications and documentation
- Strong understanding of documentation structure and workflow
- Ability to propose documentation structure and roll-out plan
- Experience in producing high quality hardware/software manuals and training materials for customers
- Expertise in using common and advanced documentation tools (i.e. MS Office, Visio, Adobe)
- Ability to critically think and work independently or as a group to meet deadline
- Independently coordinate, prioritize, and monitor multiple projects in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines alongside constant shifting priorities
- Attention to technical details
- Strong communications skills, oral and written

**Key Responsibilities**
- Write and edit manuals, maintenance manuals, and training documents, and ensure they are relevant and accurate
- Designs instructional packages or training modules, determines specific learning tasks, sub tasks and content
- Lead documentation process improvements
- Assist with all technical content development and
- Ensure documentation is user-friendly and adheres to organizational standards.
- Open to learn about the system via hands on training (hardware and software) and provide related documents pertaining to it
- Participate in system testing and related meetings as part of technical training and system development
- Help with various departments as directed

**Education Requirements**:

- Relevant Degree with at least 5 years of customer documentation experience

Pay: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
