**Transitional Support Professionals**

A variety of shifts available:

- **Two Full-Time night awakes, Two Part-Time night awakes**:

- **Three Full-Time days and evenings, Three Part-Time days and evenings**:

- **Four casuals**

The Transitional Support Professional provides critical services to the people supported by Christian Horizons Designated Treatment Programs and works to ensure that people belong to communities in which their God-given gifts are valued and respected. The Transitional Support Professional seeks to promote Christian Horizons’ Service Principles by enhancing relationships, promoting citizenship, valuing people’s gifts, recognizing self-determination, encouraging growth and development, and recognizing the need for holistic supports in a manner that considers each person’s intrinsic value.

Support individuals returning to community with daily living, skill development and personal goals. Experience with trauma informed supported, mental health and addictions an asset. **Related education required, or commitment to obtain required education within one year (reach out for more details).**

**Requirements**:

- Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Police Check
- Access to reliable transportation
- **Preferred**:_
- Minimum one year in developmental services.
- Developmental Services Worker Diploma (DSW) or Apprenticeship, Child and Youth Care Diploma (CYC) or Apprenticeship (preferred).
- Equivalent Diploma or Degree in Human Services, Community Mental Health, Behavioural Sciences, Behavioural Science Technology, Behaviour Analysis/technologist, Police Foundations Diploma, Social Service Worker, Therapeutic Recreation, Recreation Therapy, Autism and Behavioural Science, Educational Support, Social Work, Psychology, or Honours Applied Science in Family and Community Social Services) (asset)
