Excel Career College opened as a computer college in 1989. Since then, the curriculum has expanded dramatically, but our focus has remained the same: To provide relevant training to get you into the workforce quickly.

College founder and president, Pauline Stevensonand Bisman Arora, Chief Executive Officer, remain dedicated to changing people’s lives by offering hands-on training with a career focus. The programs at Excel are designed within this vision so that the skills students develop in class are the transitional tools that essentially walk them into their new careers.

Since early 2022, Excel Career College has undergone rapid expansion bringing our respected approach to dynamic hands-on learning to students throughout BC including new campuses that are open or opening soon in Victoria, Surrey, and Kelowna, in addition to our head office in the Comox Valley (Courtenay). Andamong the many awards it has acquired over the years, Excel was awarded the Professional Business of the Year in 2022 by the Vancouver Island Business Examiner Awards

Excel is PTIB Designated and maintains representation in the BC Career College Association, including representation on the BCCCA Board. The College is a designated institute through the BC Student Assistance Program(Student Aid BC), and all diploma programs offered at Excel qualify for funding options.

**Responsibilities**:

- Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective students and provide information about our educational programs
- Conduct admissions interviews and provide guidance to prospective students on program requirements and career opportunities
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth transition for admitted students
- Participate in recruitment events, such as college fairs and open houses, to promote our institution
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes in educational policies to effectively educate prospective students

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- Previous experience in admissions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of educational programs and career pathways
- Familiarity with CRM systems and other admissions software is a plus

**Salary**: $47,000.00-$70,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Victoria, BC V8W 2E7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
